antarctica journal
I have always attempted to keep "visual journals" of my experiences.
Mostly created in real time, or shortly after the events occurred.
As a result, these "journals" often contain mistakes or missteps or even glaring holes.
I find them however, to be the best artifacts of an experience.
I don't often share them, but I've been encouraged to do so here.
This journal (excerpt) reflects a period of time when I worked in partnership with the NSF in Antarctica as support staff for their many grantees.
